  • Yes. It is possible to watch Netflix using either of the following 2 methods:

Watch with an Apple TV / set-top box / gaming console / laptop connected to V7050i with an HDMI cable.

    Please note that:

    (1) You CANNOT cast Netflix on V7050i via AirPlay because of copyright protection policies.

    (2) There are many apps that can be manually installed from Google Play that allow you to watch Netflix. (*The quality of service and level of technical support for apps that are installed from Google Play are entirely subject to the respective app’s publishers.)

  • Will I be able to use my Chromecast / Amazon Fire / Roku / Apple TV?
  • Yes. You can connect through the projector with an HDMI port.

  • How to have a smooth wireless casting experience with V7000i/V7050i?
  • It depends on the internet service bandwidth provided by the Wi-Fi router as well as how many competing wireless devices in the environment. If stuttering occurs during projection, please check if Wi-Fi is working properly or it is combusted.

V7000i/V7050i has both 2.4G and 5G channels. We'd recommend switching both your home Wi-Fi router and V7000i/V7050i to 5G channel for smoother connections.

  • Is the V7000i/V7050i suitable for gaming? E.g.: Consoles like PlayStation, Xbox, or Switch.
  • The laser TV V7000i/V7050i is a projector well suited for playing video games. The large screen combined with the high contrast and detail offered by HDR10 offers a superior immersive experience especially in role-playing games (RPG).
However, V7000i/V7050i does not support low input delay crucial for first-person shooter and fighting games. For those types of games, we recommend the TK700STi, X1300i, and Th685i, which are projectors with low input delay capabilities.

  • Do V7050i support Dynamic Contrast? How can it be turned on?
  • Yes, Dynamic Contrast can be enabled when users switch from Lamp Mode to "SmartEco Mode". With BenQ’s HDR-PRO™ Dynamic Black technology, the light power will be optimized via its algorithm and adjust the brightness shown on screen to match accordingly with the bright and dark scenes playing.

  • What 3D effects or modes does the projector support?
  • The projector supports 3D Frame Sequential (PC), Frame Packing (Blu-ray), Side by Side 3D and Top & Bottom 3D (Streaming).
