Yes. It is possible to watch Netflix using either of the following 2 methods:
1. Use your own laptop’s (Windows/Chrome/MacOS) Chrome browser to stream Netflix then wirelessly cast it to TK850i.
Make sure both TK850i and the laptop are connected to the same wireless network using either WLAN mode or mobile hotspot mode, then click/activate the "Wireless Projection" app on the home screen before casting.
2. View with Plug-Ins
Watch with an Apple TV / set-top box / gaming console / laptop connected to TK850i with an HDMI cable.
Please note that:
(1) You cannot cast Netflix on TK850i via AirPlay because of copyright protection policies.
(2) There are many apps that can be manually installed from Google Play that allow you to watch Netflix. (*The quality of service and level of technical support for apps that are installed from Google Play are entirely subject to the respective app’s publishers.)
Yes, definitely. TK850i can be a good choice for console or casual gaming, but not for the first shooting games that require ultra-low latency. Our TK850i is specially designed for binge watchers, aiming to provide an authentic home entertainment experience with its excellent 4K image quality & color performance, hyper-realistic HDR PRO technology and the good brightness for brightly lit viewing scenarios, such as your living room. Thus, the low latency is not a top priority for people who have higher standards over these areas. For hardcore gamers in pursuit of ultra-low latency, BenQ’s wide range of products can meet up this demand too. We suggest you talk to our local BenQ support team, so we can help you select one that best suits your needs and preferences.
