Yes. It is possible to watch Netflix using either of the following 2 methods:
1. Use your own laptop’s (Windows/Chrome/MacOS) Chrome browser to stream Netflix then wirelessly cast it to GS50: Make sure both GS50 and the laptop are connected to the same wireless network using either WLAN mode or mobile hotspot mode, then click to activate the "Wireless Projection" app on the home screen before casting.
2. View with Plug-Ins: Watch with an Apple TV / set-top box /gaming console/ laptop connected to GS50 with an HDMI cable.
Please note that:
(1) You CANNOT cast Netflix on GS50 via AirPlay because of copyright protection policies.
(2) There are many apps that can be manually installed from Google Play that allow you to watch Netflix. (*The quality of service and level of technical support for apps that are installed from Google Play are entirely subject to the respective app’s publishers.)
No, paid streaming apps such as Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, and Disney+ have copyright protection that prevents mirroring from mobile devices due to policies enacted and enforced by content owners.
For more info on watching Netflix, please refer to: https://www.benq.com/en-us/knowledge-center/knowledge/how-can-i-stream-control-netflix-from-my-phone-on-a-projector.html

There are 2 ways to stream audio and video contents via wireless projection: WLAN mode and mobile hotspot mode.
* Please click to activate the "Wireless Projection" app on the home screen before casting.
* Please note that, due to the content protection mechanism of subscription-based streaming services, mobile devices cannot mirror or stream the content of certain streaming services, such as Netflix, Fox+, Catchplay, iTunes, etc.
The content you can stream via Airplay and Chromecast:
1. Photos, videos, and music files on your mobile phone.
2. Webpages
3. Content on YouTube

It depends on the Internet bandwidth provided by the Wi-Fi router as well as how many competing wireless devices there are in the environment. If stuttering occurs during projection, please check whether the Wi-Fi is working properly or if it is congested.
GS50 has both 2.4G and 5G channels. We'd recommend switching both your home’s Wi-Fi router and GS50 to the 5G channel for a smoother connection.
1. Access the pre-load Spotify/YouTube music apps from the Android TV home screen. (You can also download more music streaming apps from the Google Play store).

GS50 will automatically detect HDR10/HLG and display compatible signals by connecting the image source to HDMI (HDCP2.2).

Yes. You can connect to GS50 using an HDMI, a USB-C (to connect to mobiles or laptops which support DisplayPort), or a USB 1.5A to read the multimedia files in a USB flash drive.
Please be noted that:
Media content playing is supported with USB-A, but not supported with USB-C.
Unlike LCDs, mobiles and tablets, which emit blue light, projectors project light onto a wall or screen so that it does not hit the eyes directly, producing less irritation and damage.
Equipped with an Eye-Protection Sensor, GS50 will shut down the LED light automatically to prevent strong light from entering the eyes in case that curious kids peep into the lens.
What's more, GS50 is IPX2 splash-proof and 2.3ft(70cm) drop-proof. Your kids can play indoors as well as outdoors carefreely, without safety concerns.
GS50 can be charged with a power bank via USB-C that supports power delivery (45W, 15V, 3A).
Please be noted that:
1. The power bank needs to support PD (power delivery) 15V, 3A, 45W and is recommended to have a capacity of 30000mah.
2. Please use USB-C to USB-C cable to connect GS50 and the power bank.
3. You can simultaneously play video and recharge the projector with a power bank. We highly recommend using “Eco Mode” or “Low Power Mode” when charging because you can recharge quickly; otherwise “Standard Mode” takes more time. A soft reminder, while using “Eco Mode” or “Low Power Mode”, the projector will automatically lower 30~50% of its brightness (compared to “Standard Mode”).
Please purchase a compatible power inverter to work with your car charger. The power inverter has to be "OUTPUT 100V-240V ~ 50/60Hz, 1.5A". Please be noted that the car charger is not designed to charge large electronic devices, and the electricity from the car charger might not be stable.
*If you want to charge the projector via the USB-C port, the power delivery should support 45W, 15V, 3A.
GS50 supports 3 power modes: Normal/ Eco/ Low Power mode. When using GS50 without the power adaptor, the power mode will be switched to “ Low Power mode” (brightness decreased to 50%). It’s a user-friendly design to save power and extend LED life. If a brighter screen is preferred, please connect the power adapter to the projector or switch the power mode to “Eco Mode” or “Normal.”
Please be noted that:
1. The Li-ion battery capacity of GS50 is 6000 mAh.
2. Please charge for at least 3 hours on your initial usage.
3. 2.5-hour battery life is the maximum value measured under Low Power mode and only when playing contents from USB.
There is no need to replace it during the normal usage lifetime of the projector. Because the projector uses an LED light source instead of a lamp, it can last for about 20,000~30,000 hours so there is no need to change it during the normal usage lifetime of the projector. If you want to change the lamp, please notice that LED replacement is not user-serviceable, please contact the service center to replace it.
