My BenQ monitor doesn’t support USB-C. Can it connect to an M1 MacBook via a Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to DisplayPort or HDMI adapter?

02-22-2022

If your BenQ monitor uses HDMI, DisplayPort, and Mini DisplayPort for video output > input, it will work with any properly-certified and made USB-C to DisplayPort or HDMI adapters. But in order to get the best experience, we suggest you buy Thunderbolt 3 (or USB-C Alt Mode) compatible monitors.
