COSTA MESA, Calif. — May 12, 2016 — BenQ America Corp., an internationally renowned provider of visual display solutions and the No. 1-selling projector brand powered by TI DLP® technology in The Americas(1), today introduced the latest addition to its Colorific™ home entertainment projector lineup, the MH530. The MH530 projects bright, vibrant true-to-life images for a stunning entertainment experience that delivers full HD 1080p resolution and long-lasting color fidelity to the living room. Engineered with a variety of advanced features to elevate picture performance, including energy-saving SmartEco™ technology, 3D functionality and HDMI® connectivity, the MH530 is a breeze to install and easy to use.
"Nothing compares to the realism of big-screen projection,” said J.Y. Hu, vice president, business line management at BenQ America Corp. “Our newest home entertainment offering is bright enough to deliver an immersive experience even in spaces with ambient light. The MH530 packs a number of enhancements, providing users with outstanding projector performance for an incredible value.”
Designed to provide accurate, crisp and long-lasting Colorific picture quality, the MH530 features full HD 1080p resolution, 10,000:1 contrast ratio and 3,200 ANSI lumens of brightness. The projector is built with the latest DLP engine to support 3D functionality and reproduce accurate colors with remarkable native contrast, sharpness and realistic details, especially in the shadows.
Equipped with BenQ's SmartEco energy-saving technology, the MH530 offers optimized projection through dynamic power saving, uncompromised brightness, exquisite picture quality and extensive lamp life. This innovation allows energy-conscious users to save up to 70 percent of lamp power consumption and lower maintenance costs while still bringing an ultra-vivid viewing experience to the home. The unit's "SmartEco" mode adjusts lamp power to maximize energy savings by using only as much light as needed to deliver the best contrast and brightness performance.
Since projector lamp replacement costs make up the biggest part of the total cost of projector ownership, the unit's "Lamp Save" mode is designed to dynamically adjust lamp power based on content brightness levels. This extends projector lamp life by 50 percent and up to 10,000 hours. The "No Source Detected" mode further reduces power consumption by automatically adjusting power consumption to 30 percent when no source is detected for more than three minutes. When inactive, the MH530 keeps power consumption to a minimum at 0.5W standby power.
Available now, the MH530 retails for $999. More information on the full line of BenQ products is available at www.BenQ.us.
