COSTA MESA, Calif. — Oct. 6, 2015 — BenQ America Corp., an internationally renowned provider of visual display solutions, today unveiled all-new models of its everyday GW Series monitors. Made for today’s mainstream applications, the full HD VA monitors comprised of the GW2455H, GW2470H, and GW2870H combine Eye-Care and RevolutionEyes™ technologies, high-contrast ratios, a sleek exterior, and HDMI connectivity to bring users convenience, minimalist styling, stellar imaging, and the visual comfort needed to support long periods of use within any home or office setting.

“BenQ’s newest GW monitors sustain our popular series’ status as an elegant, high-value proposition for office workstations and multi-use home applications,” said J.Y. Hu, Vice President, Business Line Management at BenQ America Corp. “Featuring our innovative RevolutionEyes technology, users can quickly adjust the panels to match specific tasks, providing an unprecedented level of comfort for watching videos, reading online, or working with documents. Set at an accessible price point, the sleek-looking series lets customers access cutting-edge innovations without sending the family or business budget off balance.”

Available in 24-inch (GW2455H and GW2470H) and 28-inch (GW2870H) screen sizes, BenQ’s GW line of mainstream displays comes equipped with an incredible high contrast ratio of 3000:1 — the highest rating compared to other BenQ TN, VA, and IPS panels. As a result, users gain sharper color depth, crispness, clarity, and HD quality that bring even darkened and complex visual images to life. To complement onscreen performance, the GW series features an elegant minimalist design and either a t-shaped (GW2470H and GW2870H) or oval (GW2455H) stand for smooth aesthetic lines across the exterior. The GW2470H and GW2870H add sleek elements such as a hairline surface treatment and offer a faster response time of 4ms GTG, while the entry-level GW2455H delivers 8ms GTG.

Part of the BenQ Eye-care initiative, the GW series features the company’s RevolutionEyes technology to increase visual comfort effectively while performing common computer tasks. Using ZeroFlicker technology, the monitors eliminate flickering at all brightness levels while an embedded Low Blue Light Mode filters visual exposure to the release of blue spectrum light. By switching between integrated hotkeys, users can quickly select presets such as multimedia, Web-surfing, office, or reading modes — reducing blue light emission by up to 70-percent during daily use scenarios.

To increase convenience, the GW Series enables 178°/178° wide viewing angles, letting users tilt the monitors to further increase comfort and collaboration. Equipped with HDMI, the series also allows users to easily connect a wide range of additional components while dual HDMI ports on the GW2470H and GW2870H take connectivity to an entirely new level of convenience. Incredibly eco-friendly, the GW family features an Energy Star 6.0 rating and is equipped with dynamic power saving that automatically adjusts brightness to reduce power consumption for more efficient energy savings.

Available now, BenQ’s new GW2455H, GW2470H, and GW2870H monitors retail at $169, $179, and $239 respectively. More information on BenQ’s full line of RevolutionEyes monitors is available at www.BenQ.us
