New BenQ Colorific™ Projectors On Display at InfoComm 2015

100% sRGB Projectors

As the No. 1-selling projector brand powered by TI DLP® technology in The Americas(1), BenQ continues to improve image quality with a full lineup of 100% sRGB displays suitable for a variety of AV environments including small- to medium-size conference rooms as well as large venues. Powered by Colorific™ technology to deliver accurate, crisp, and long-lasting image quality, BenQ’s newest high brightness models have been specifically engineered to follow the sRGB color space – the primary standard used in the majority of devices consumers are familiar with like computers, tablets and smartphones. By delivering 100% sRGB color reproduction, BenQ projectors offer astounding out-of-the-box color precision for content that jumps off the screen. sRGB displays produce richer color saturation resulting in higher color fidelity and a higher perceived overall brightness.

End users expect color continuity across all display devices. At InfoComm 2015, BenQ kicks off its ‘Colorific Movement,’ shifting the image quality focus back to color accuracy rather than the traditional assumption that higher brightness is always better. Because color fidelity matters, all BenQ projectors deliver consistent images over the life of the product without the risk of fading, ghosting, or yellowing. The new projector lineup consists of the P-Series: PU9730 and PU9530; S-Series: SU964 and SU922; and the original HC1200.

Large Venue P-Series Professional Projector: PU9730

The BenQ P-Series projector delivers brilliant image performance with ultra-high brightness and contrast to deliver incredibly accurate color reproduction, time after time. The PU9730 features 7,000 ANSI lumens and WUXGA resolution making it an ideal choice for large-venue applications such as houses of worship, auditoriums, and conference rooms. With 360-degree rotation; motorized zoom, focus, and lens shift; and a range of connectivity options including HDBaseT, the PU9730 is packed with features that facilitate installation. Equipped with seven optional interchangeable lenses and color wheels, the PU9730 can be placed virtually anywhere, all while delivering the right color profile to match the intended application. Rounding out the projector’s management and maintenance features is LAN control to support Creston Roomview, PJLink, and AMX systems, as well as energy-savings options that reduce total cost of ownership (TCO). New P-Series models will release in Q3 and include the PU9530 (WUXGA, 6,000 lumens), PW9520 (WXGA, 6,000 lumens), and PX9510 (XGA, 6,500 lumens).

High Brightness S-Series Professional Projectors: SU964 and SU922

BenQ’s S-Series projectors are designed to bring high brightness to any AV environment. The SU964 and SU922 feature 6,500 and 5,000 ANSI lumens of brightness, combined with 8300:1 and 3000:1 contrast ratios, respectively. With WUXGA resolution and up to 2.3 million pixels, the projectors deliver full HD images without compromising legibility for stunning content in nearly any ambient lighting setting. The duo also accommodates several connectivity options, including dual HDMI and HDBaseT, to support multiple media sources. To make installations more efficient, the devices provide 1.5x big zoom, horizontal and vertical lens shift, corner fit image correction, and LAN control to support Creston Roomview, PJLink, and AMX systems. Additionally, the models offer a wide range of energy-savings to cut power consumption by up to 70%.

The World’s First 100% sRGB Multipurpose Projector: HC1200

The BenQ HC1200 was the market’s first 100% sRGB projector. Offering 1.5x zoom capabilities, 2D keystone correction, and more, the revolutionary display provides more precise color reproduction right out of the box. Increasing versatility, the HC1200 provides integrators with the convenience of both RJ45 (LAN) and RS232 networking standards, while a variety of connectivity options such as dual HDMI and dual VGA inputs offer the ultimate in multimedia convergence.

Designed for today’s boardrooms and classrooms, the budget-friendly MX570 projector features 3,200 ANSI lumens of brightness, a 13,000:1 contrast ratio, and energy-saving SmartEco technology, in addition to a powerful 10W speaker for added multimedia convenience.
