Now digital whiteboard can help your creative team develop new ideas more seamlessly, and with the function of finding creative inspiration online and collaborate directly on digital whiteboard, good ideas will start flowing. It makes creatives love advertising more.
New ideas don’t exist in a vacuum. They come about by knocking together different ideas and seeing what creative sparks fly. But even the best creatives sometimes find themselves in an inspirational rut. Getting out of that rut has never been easier thanks to Jamboard, a smart whiteboard that comes with digital interactive tools. I can easily run a Google Search to add images and video screenshots to Jamboard, which can spur new thinking.
With Google Jamboard, it allows me to draw or write in different colors and fonts. I can simply scroll through a color wheel and start sketching. Anyone with the app running on their mobile devices can do the same thing and add their ideas directly through the app to the Jam session. Rather than one person dictating the whole brainstorming process, a Jam session feels more collaborative. Everything can be resized, layered, and moved around the whiteboard with a tap, touch, or drag. These functions keep our ideas organized, and every Jamboard session is automatically saved to Google Drive. Erasing on a Jamboard is just as easy as it is on a traditional whiteboard-just wipe to erase.
Creative ideas flourish best in a shop which preserves some spirit of fun. Nobody is in business for fun, but that does not mean there cannot be fun in business. - Leo Burnett, founder of Leo Burnett Company, Inc.
I am surrounded by incredibly bright people. Every day, I see a new way to solve a problem. Our employees come from all walks of life, and each one brings something unique to a creative brainstorming session. I make sure that everyone is having fun as our work is so much better when my team members are enjoying themselves.
We always have to be on the lookout for brainstorm killers, and for me, empty markers follow me around like I’m cursed. I like using different colored markers to represent different ideas, but sometimes the marker I’m using runs out of ink, forcing me to search other conference rooms for another marker of the same color. This search always interrupts the creative process. Most of the time, the brilliant idea I had is gone afterward.
It’s easy to love advertising when good ideas are flowing. Though, if the creative runs dry with both clients and creative professionals, they could start to get bored or unproductive. Providing new creative stimulus and new ways of thinking is vital to a good flow of ideas.
Nothing comes from nothing. You must continuously feed the inner beast that sparks and inspires. - George Lois, co-founder of Lois, Holland, Callaway
Jamboard makes a brainstorming session fun to develop new ideas more seamlessly. If my team finds it difficult to generate ideas, they are able to easily find creative inspiration online using Jamboard and instantly add it to the collaborative whiteboard.
Creatives use the same tools to brainstorm now as they did 50 years ago. A pen, paper, sticky notes, and a whiteboard. Jamboard is a digital whiteboard that gives our ideas the platform they deserve, and provides a spark of inspiration when we need it. As a CD, I would never be able to go back to a traditional whiteboard.
