Internal storage is used to install apps. If you need to clear up storage space, the only way to do so is uninstall apps. Please follow these steps to remove apps you no longer use or need:
Settings > Device Preference > Storage > Internal Shared Storage > Apps > Select an app you would like to uninstall > Uninstall
