Why can't I enable MST (daisy chain) function in Extend Mode on my MacBook?

If Mac/MacBook with Mac OS is connected to monitors with Thunderbolt 3 to DisplayPort cable, MST (daisy chain) function can only be enabled in "Mirror Mode".

 

MST (daisy chain) function can be enabled in both Extend and Mirror modes with below conditions:
