Glyn Dewis is a photographer, author and educator currently based just outside of Oxford in the UK.

Glyn was first introduced to the world of Photography by a family member showing him Adobe Photoshop and then he stepped into the world of photography. Fast forward roughly 10 years and Glyn has gained clients such as the BBC being commissioned to work on material for BBC’s The Apprentice as well as Sky TV and the Fox Network.

Best Selling Author of The Photoshop Workbook - Professional Retouching and Compositing Tips, Tricks and Techniques published by Peachpit Press, Glyn’s second book ‘Photograph Like a Thief’ published by Rocky Nook covering Photography, Lighting and Post Production techniques is available now.

Glyn can be seen instructing at Conventions, speaking at Seminars, writing for Photography Magazines across Europe and the USA, and in 2013 was featured in the New York Times for a Photography technique he calls ‘The Invisible Black Background’.

With a long time interest in history and in particular the events in World War 2, Glyn is working on a long term project recreating photographs from the era and photographing surviving veterans.

From day one Glyn has been very open about his work and his techniques, sharing them daily on his blog at glyndewis.com and his weekly video series on YouTube.
